ONLINE SAFETY support for Remote Learning, from Kids In The Know
Courtesy of the Canadian Center for Child Protection, based right here in Winnipeg on Academy Road, resources for parents are now FREE as a support for families who are online more now, than ever.
The School Support Team consists of the school principal, the resource teacher, the school counsellor and educational assistants. Our collaborative approach allows us to provide direct intervention for individual students, small group targeted support as well as support for teachers as they plan for students with cognitive, social and emotional, and physical needs. The goal is to ensure success for all learners by providing appropriate educational programming.
As well, the school team often elicits the expertise of the various members of the Clinical Support Services team. This divisional team consists of a Support Services Consultant, Psychologist, Speech and Language Pathologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, a Behaviour and Learning Support Teacher and a Social Worker. In addition to this support, we work with extended support services agencies outside of the school system such as MATC, Anxiety Disorders Clinic, Children's DisAbility Services, CFS, etc. |
École Tuxedo Park adults, under their masks!
Our bulletin board in the main hallway features an art project by each adult at ETP... with a self-portrait masked, then unmasked. We are thankful for amazing colleagues during this time of the pandemic.
